Travel posts often feature glossy photos, airport selfies, and perfectly framed cabin shots. Social media has made flying look effortless and glamorous - business class pods, champagne glasses and soft lighting. But real travel, as frequent flyers know, usually comes with delays, crowded aisles, tired faces, and moments that do not make it to Instagram. That's exactly what American race car driver Parker Kligerman pointed out in a recent post on X. He shared a scene he witnessed while boarding a delayed Paris to New York flight.

According to Parker, a young woman boarded the plane with a man he assumed was her boyfriend. The woman sat down in a business class pod. The man then took photos of her. She stood up, checked the pictures and seemed unhappy with them. This already slowed down the line of passengers waiting to move ahead. She sat down again for another round of photos: More clicks, more checking, and more people getting visibly annoyed behind them.

Once done, the pair allegedly didn't settle into the premium seats. Instead, they got up and walked all the way to the back of the plane. Straight to their economy seats. Parker summed up the post by writing, "Don't trust what you see on the internet, kids."

The viral post left many social media users annoyed. Read some of the reactions below:

A user wrote, "This should get a person banned from the airline entirely."

Another one added, "They should both be put on the no-fly list for this antisocial behavior."

"This is why you shouldn't try to keep up with social media influencers," read a comment.

Someone said, "This happens more than ppl even know. It's sad. The problem is something as silly as a selfie can actually disrupt the whole boarding process and the time allotted prior to doors shut and staying on time."

An X user shared, "I was flying in business class. A couple like this used my seat to take pics too and then when I said excuse me this is my seat- They walked to economy."

The viral post has clocked over 1.4 million views so far.
