I ticked all the boxes, graduated, landed a good job, got married, took care of my parents, saved money, bought a land, and built a house. Somewhere along the way, I realised that I was living a life that others expected of me, not the one that made me feel happy."

Known for her offbeat travel content, adventurous hikes, challenging treks and inspiring solo female trips, Vanathi never misses an opportunity to deliver doses of inspiration to her followers. However, the vlogger's path of pursuing her dream also presented several challenges. "Yes, it is scary. I do not know what the future holds, but what I know is I can always get a job in another five years," she said.

In the video's caption, the vlogger explained that while working at Oracle, she juggled a hectic 9-5 on weekdays with travelling or trekking every weekend, trying to keep both worlds alive. "But slowly, I lost interest in climbing the corporate ladder. The same meetings, the same sprints, the same code... it all started to feel like a loop I couldn't escape," she added.
