Viral: Furious IndiGo Passenger Slams Its In-Flight Meal, Internet Says "You Are Not Alone"

An IndiGo passenger travelling from Delhi recently vented his frustration over the airline's in-flight snack combo. The meal, which included a sandwich, pepper crackers, mixed fruit juice, and a cranberry cookie, was described by the passenger as underwhelming. Sharing a picture of the sandwich wrapped in green paper alongside the snack bag, he wrote, “IndiGo's snack bag is the best example of how a bad product can be sold well with good packaging, giving amazing cost savings!” Calling the combo a “packet of disappointment at 34,000 feet,” he revealed that booking his flight last minute meant the snack was automatically bundled with his ticket.

He elaborated how the snack bag looked promising while booking the ticket during rush hours, but soon turned into a regret. The passenger also revealed its contents, which included -

• A sandwich “full of veggies, dressing and … lot of salt!"
• A packet of some “weird version of pepper crackers", which the X user ironically revealed about not watching before and called the most palatable item in the snack combo.
• A Paper Boat mix-fruit juice, which, according to him, is from “another company specialising in great packaging,” and, 
• A cranberry cookie that “did not look like a cookie and legit tasted like cough syrup." 

He concluded the post, mentioning, “Tldr; This little bundle of sorrow is best avoided."

Social media users soon began expressing mixed reactions to the Delhi passenger's IndiGo in-flight meal.

A user wrote, “You are not alone. 23% airline passengers had an issue with Indigo's food quality in 2025. If the overpricing is factored in, the number will likely go up to 70%+."
