Check out this super hot and fresh plate of Indian food in chilly Antarctica weather.

For travellers and adventure-seekers, there's nothing quite like exploring the unknown and experiencing new cultures in the most unexpected places. What if you get the chance to explore the frozen landscapes of Antarctica? Would you take it? A doctor, stationed at India's research station in Antarctica, shared a glimpse of his life at the South Pole in an Instagram video. Instead of eating something bizarre, the Indian research team decided to cook some hot and delicious chole puri that felt like home.

The footage showed a casserole full of puris and a metal container filled with chole. A person was seen making fresh puris for everyone at the research station. The side note read, "The weather outside? -30 degrees Celsius and crazy winds. The vibes inside? Pure warmth and nostalgia. Puri chole CHAI. On a quiet polar night, when the world is wrapped in snow and silence, we were wrapped in something even better: puri chole. Hot, crispy, puffed puris paired with that perfect spicy chole... the kind of breakfast that doesn't just fill your stomach-it hugs your soul."

It added, "This isn't your everyday meal. It's the kind of comfort food made for special mornings, for moments that deserve celebration-even here, at the end of the world. A huge thank you to our master chef for turning a frozen day into a flavourful memory. Good food is more than taste-it's warmth, it's home, it's hope."

Here is how the internet reacted to the post:

One user wrote, "I just know that chole puri hits different in that icy place."

Another added, "This is the level of rich only 'academic excellence' can afford. Chhole Puri in Antarctica would allow my soul to leave my body. Did you have a cup of garam adrak chai with that, sir?"

A person shared, "Now my daughter, who always wanted to work at Dakshin Gangotri, has another reason to pursue that dream. She's fully convinced."

"Need to do something in life which at some point lets me eat chhole puri in Antarctica," read a comment.
