In a video posted on Instagram, Bhumi shared how she celebrated Diwali with her mother, Sumitra Hooda Pednekar, and sister, Samiksha Pednekar - "far away from home" but with the same warmth and faith. From praying with utmost devotion - hands folded and eyes closed - to watching an array of fireworks light up the sky alongside her mother and sister, the overall experience for the actor appeared truly surreal.
"This Diwali, I was far from home, away from my puppies and our little rituals, yet surrounded by warmth that felt just as familiar. Even across continents, I could feel Papa's presence and the quiet blessings of our ancestors as we prayed. Home isn't always a place. It's a feeling carried in love, faith, and the people you're with. Thank you, BAPS Atlanta mandir, for giving us that feeling, true home away from home," read her caption.
