Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Ranked Among World's Top 10 Tourist Attractions

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (SZGM) in Abu Dhabi has achieved a significant milestone. The state-of-the-art mosque has secured the 8th spot in TripAdvisor's 2025 Top Attractions category, among 25 key global landmarks - climbing two places from its 2024 ranking. It has also earned the distinction of being the number one tourist attraction in the Middle East, competing with 10 other iconic spots, according to the report. TripAdvisor's rankings are determined from reviews and ratings of over 8 million landmarks worldwide.

All You Need To Know About Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque In Abu Dhabi

The architectural marvel, carved entirely out of white marble and featuring domes, floral mosaics and reflective pools, was initiated by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first president of the UAE. The mosque attracts over seven million visitors annually, 82 per cent of whom are from overseas.
