The newest entrant in this club is Randeep Hooda, who has radically transformed himself for his upcoming Sarabjit Singh biopic, setting social media abuzz with his before and after pictures.

Omung Kumar, meanwhile, shared the first look of Richa's character from the film. She is seen wearing a bright coloured salwar suit, bangles and jewellery. Sarbjit is a biopic on Sarabjit Singh, the Indian prisoner who died in a prison in Pakistan

In the image, Richa Chadha is dressed in a bright yellow suit with a pink phulkari dupatta. In the film, Richa plays the role of Sukhpreet Kaur, Sarabjit Singh's wife. The film is directed by Omung Kumar and also stars Aishwarya Rai as Sarabjit's sister, Dalbir Kaur

"Aishwarya pulled off a two-minute performance oriented scene so gracefully in one take, with no cuts and retakes, it was more like a real moment than a scene being filmed," said Sandeep Singh, producer of Sarabjit. In the Omung Kumar-directed film, Aishwarya plays the role of Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur

Aishwarya, who plays the role of Dalbir Kaur (Sarbjit's sister) was sporting a non-glamorous look, therefore, the onlookers initially didn't recognize her. However, once Aishwarya's guise was revealed, her fans' Jazbaa knew no bounds and a five-minute drive to her vanity van became a half hour one drive

After her power-packed role in Jazbaa, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has started shooting for Sarabjit. "Work on Sarabjit has begun and we have just started filming. It is an intense film and as an actor, I obviously enjoy that," said Aishwarya. The film, directed by Omung Kumar, is a biopic on Sarabjit Singh

"We have started filming and would like to first say that, the picture is already out and I am very thankful for the response. It has been very encouraging, even for the choice of subject. Work has begun and it is (the film) intense," said Aishwarya. A picture from the sets showed Aishwarya dressed as an aged woman, wearing spectacles

"Yes, they have approached me for a role and I will be doing it. However, at this point of time legalities and paper work is being done. It's true I am offered the role to play Randeep's wife and I will sign on the dotted lines soon. It's an interesting role and can't wait to talk more on the same"

The biopic is from the point of view of Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur, to be played by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who endured severe hardship in trying to get her brother released.
