Madhya Pradesh Government Reduces Weight Of School Bags; New Policy Makes Day In Week Bag-Less

The new guidelines direct schools to teach subjects such as Computer, Moral Science, General Knowledge, Sports, Physical Education, Health, and Arts without books. No books other than those prescribed by the state government and the NCERT should be carried in school bags.

HRD Ministry Releases NCERT Roadmap For 2020-21 Academic Session, Interim Reports on Curriculum By December

A new National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for School Education has also been initiated. NCERT is expected to make changes in the textbooks in accordance with the new NCF. Subject experts will initiate this process for school education, and give interim reports by December 2020.
