DMDK leader Vijaykanth to meet Prime Minister: Congress sources

Chennai: Amid reports that Congress was wooing his party, DMDK founder and Leader of the Opposition in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Vijaykanth today left Chennai for New Delhi for a meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Vijaykanth, accompanied by his wife and brother-in-law, left by a flight. Some of his party MLAs left earlier, airport sources said.

They are scheduled to meet the Prime Minister tomorrow, Congress sources said.
