AIADMK councillor hacked to death in Tamil Nadu

Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu: An AIADMK councillor of Tuticorin corporation was hacked to death in his office by an unidentified gang today, police said.

The gang members, who had come on a two-wheeler, hacked the councillor Vellaipandi (55) and fled the scene. He was rushed to government hospital but died on the way, police said.
