Stranded overnight at an airport, a woman danced the night away. The viral video is making many smile
After missing a connecting flight, a woman ended up stranded at Charlotte Douglas International Airport in North Carolina, United States. Writing on YouTube, Mahshid Mazooji said she didn't want to "sit in anger all night long." Instead, she did what makes her "happiest." She danced. Ms Mazooji posted a video of herself dancing up a storm at the airport with staff and waiting passengers on YouTube. A link to the video was also tweeted by the airport. The viral video has been viewed over a million times and is sure to make you smile.
In the video, Ms Mazooji dances to Lionel Richie's 1983 hit "All Night Long." Appropriate choice, we think! She does a mean moonwalk and shakes a leg with a Starbucks barista, various airport staff and even passengers waiting to board their flight.
"I missed my connecting flight in Charlotte, and I didn't want to sit in anger all night long, so instead I did what makes me happiest...DANCE!!!! Oh, and I made some really great friends along the way! Thank you for dancing your troubles away with me," writes Ms Mazooji on YouTube.
Charlotte's airport tweeted the video writing: "Kudos...for turning a tough experience at #CLT into a positive one."
