According to local media reports, the plane was spotted on Tuesday, when at least 12 twisters sprung up above the Black Sea area.
A number of flights were reportedly diverted as the swirling columns of air formed alarmingly close to each other.
The plane that was spotted was reported to have had a safe landing, though the passengers likely experienced some severe turbulence.

Pictures of the turbulent weather conditions were shared by many on the photo-sharing site Instagram.
According to Metro, the 'tornados' are actually water spouts. They are swirling columns of air similar to tornadoes, which form on land, but they are formed over water. Though usually less intense than tornadoes, water spouts are still potentially dangerous. Click for more trending news
