Humans of Bombay Facebook page. And while he may think his is a small dream, the idea behind it is truly inspiring. In a post shared some 21 hours before writing this, the auto driver talks about his dream to build a toilet in his village. And his reason for doing so will really melt your heart.
In the post, the auto driver, not named, talks about living in Mumbai while his wife and daughters stay back home in his village. He goes on to explain that his village lacks basic facilities which include a proper toilet.
"They're very run down and are often watched by men - it kept bothering me to know that my wife and daughters only thought it was safe to use these bathrooms only at night so that no one could see them," he says.
So, to tackle this issue, he decided to apply for a bank loan in order to build a toilet in his village. And while providing a clean toilet to his wife and daughters is his aim, the toilet also helps him with another problem. But we'll let you read the post in its entirety to know what that is. Since being shared, the post has collected over 5,400 reactions and more than 150 shares.
