Among the many questions put to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg at his IIT Delhi townhall on October 28, there was one that made him smile.
Apart from the pressing issue of persistent Candy Crush requests, he was asked by Phani, a member of the audience: If Zuckerberg, one of the world's richest and most influential people, was granted a super power by aliens, what would he wish for? And how would he use it for the betterment of the world?
Turns out, Zuckerberg doesn't really need aliens to make his wish come true. He'll make himself the super power he wants, and share it with the world as well.
"One of the great things about technology is you actually can build superpowers for people in the world," he said. "What we are doing with Oculus for example, I think what we're really enabling is for people to teleport."
The super power Mark Zuckerberg wants is the ability to teleport - to transport or be transported across space and distance instantly - and get this, he's already working on it.
"You're gonna be able to put on a headset and go anywhere you want in the world... you'll get to go to places that are impossible to go to in the world," he explained.
His vision includes dialing gravity up and down, playing ping pong with a friend in space or even underwater.
