Boarding a plane with jewellery worth 15 crores

Lucknow: Jewellery worth over Rs 15 crores was seized by Income Tax officers from three passengers at Amausi airport here while they were boarding a Mumbai-bound Kingfisher flight, officials said today.
   
Jignesh Sanghvi, Chetan Mehta and Rounak Modi were detained by IT sleuths last night after diamond studded gold jewellery, loose diamonds and gold worth over Rs 15 crore was recovered from them, they said.
   
The passengers were allowed to go after their statements were recorded today, IT officials said.
