If you were wondering just how many diamonds it takes for a single ring to break the world record, Mumbai's Hari Krishna Exports and HK Designs could probably answer your question. It has taken the jewellery manufacturer based out of Mumbai, precisely 50,907 diamonds to set a Guinness World Record with painstaking efforts but a shining reward. The giant floral ring is a hand candy unlike any you have probably laid your eyes on. The estimated value of Rs 6.43 Crores according to the Guinness World Records, is a seemingly fair value for all that bling glinting in our eyes that took close to nine months to create. But before you think that's all there is to this mammoth diamond ring, the jewellery house goes on to surprise us even further. The floral diamond ring is purely made from recycled materials including recycled gold and repurposed diamonds extracted from old jewellery received from customers.

The winning design from the brand, aptly named Eutierria, means becoming one with nature and features a sunflower with a butterfly delicately perched on top. "The ring has a total of 8 parts which include 4 layers of petals, the shank, 2 diamond discs and the butterfly. The final count of diamonds is 50,907 and each diamond was hand set by a team of experts." The ring was created in 18-carat gold using the lost wax method. After assembling the design, the ring was polished, and coated with rhodium to the petals and butterfly wings for a finishing touch that would last a lifetime.
