We don't know if they planned it this way, but Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan just showed up at an event together looking perfectly coordinated in monochrome outfits. Soha, actress and now author, was at a media-organised women's forum with her mother, who she described in her Instagram as 'my hero.' We just can't get over how stylish they look wearing similar colours but very different ensembles. Truth be told, Ms Tagore's sari looks like it belongs to the latest Raw Mango collection, titled Midnight, and as such is probably more navy than black - and we spy clumps of azure blooms - but she is, overall, a symphony of black and white, her elegant look set off by her perfectly coiffured salt and pepper hair.

The Pataudis don't always look this coordinated. Last year, at the launch of Soha's book The Perils Of Being Moderately Famous, each looked like they were going to a different party - with the author dressed casually in jeans, her mother in one of her elegant sarees, and sister-in-law Kareena fully glammed up in a glittering bodycon dress.
