The art of clicking a selfie is one many of us have learnt but few have mastered. Living in the day and age of social media isn't just limited to scrolling through our feeds to find the latest trends or news, it comes with heavier baggage; the opportunities to turn the lens on oneself now afforded demand the ancillary ability to take the perfect selfie. It makes sense, then, that celebrities have figured this one out better than the rest of us - camera-consciousness is their job after all; striking the best red carpet pose or putting their best face forward for a close-up becomes a stock-in-trade for the famous.
Ditto, the selfie. How many of us have resorted to our phones when we're stuck in traffic and bored? I'd say many. Well, Shah Rukh Khan is no different. He shared a selfie of himself yesterday on Twitter, stating that traffic, besides making you late for work, can turn you into a photo editor. We couldn't agree more, SRK, and we have to give it up for your selfie skills.

Shah Rukh Khan isn't the only one indulging his artistic self by taking selfies and editing them to perfection. His Dear Zindagi co-star Alia Bhatt seems to love taking selfies too. From posing with her friends and family to her pet cat Edward, Alia has perfected the art of the selfie, with a little help from Snapchat filters. In fact, we might take cues from Alia about using Snapchat filters in our selfies.
Alia's close friend and Tiger Zinda Hai star Katrina Kaif is not too far behind in the selfie department. Other than when Alia and Katrina are busy taking selfies together, Katrina posts plenty on her Instagram page. We can't say we're complaining. Katrina manages to look gorgeous even with the camera that close to her face.
Katrina has also gone ahead and posted pre-workout mirror selfies, showing off her extremely well toned and strong body.
Seems like Shah Rukh Khan isn't the only one clicking selfies on his way to work. His Don co-star Priyanka Chopra is another one who whips out the phone when traffic gets too frustrating.
These celebrities definitely seem to have mastered the art of taking selfies. In fact, they seem to be taking it to the next level and turning it into an exact science. A few things we do notice from their selfies are that they love using filters, just like so many of us do, and they often resort to the top angle for a selfie. Perhaps these pointers will come in handy the next time you decide to take that profile picture-worthy selfie.
