No Really, Amyra Dastur Is Not Wearing Just A Basic Black Gown On This Red Carpet

Black dresses may be a classic fashion choice but can we just say we'd like to pause them from arriving on red carpet henceforth, unless they offer a distinguishing and stylish twist. At last night's Pinkvilla Style Icons 2022 Awards, Janhvi Kapoor may have done that in a black gown which had cutouts in all the right places but it seems like Amyra Dastur did one better. The Bollywood actress was spotted on the red carpet; not just wearing any ol' basic black dress, which  in turn allowed us to breathe a sigh of relief. Amyra sported a black jumpsuit which has a plunging neckline and tapered silhouette down its length. What gave it its red carpet quality was the flowing train that emerged from the waist. From either side was a black embellished detail over a train that enveloped the back and cut away at the front to showcase her trousers. Amyra wore it with black pointed pumps and paired her outfit with a chunky stone studded choker necklace and bracelet.

To add vibrance to her monochrome outfit, Amyra opted for a burgundy toned lip and narrow brows. Bronzer lit up her cheeks and highlighter added more gleam to her complexion. Finally, she pulled her hair up in a updo hairstyle. All in all, it's a fashion win for Amyra. Wearing a fashion experiment on the red carpet, especially when most celebrities play it safe, definitely can be nerve-racking but we think Amyra Dastur's fashion risk definitely paid off.
