1. Photo collage
The memories captured can never fade away. Compiling your bewitching photos together can be a lovely gift. Take a cardboard, cut two hollow squares or rectangles of similar sizes. Stick the cutout from three sides which will enable you to fix and even change the photo in the frame. Make a keyhole on the top open side to fix it on a wall using a nail. Decorate your frame with paint, mirrors and stars, to make it look mesmerising.

2. Hand holding heart card
The most precious gift we can offer our mothers is love. This card will make her overwhelm with happiness. You will need coloured A4 size sheets, markers, scissors and glue. Take a sheet, fold it and on its outer side, trace your left hand from the closed corner. Cut the picture of your hand, ensuring that you do not cut it from the closed side. On opening it, you will witness two hand joined together by the palms. Take another sheet, slit it half and draw a heart on it. Cut the heart from the sheet, stick it in the centre of the palms, inside the card. You can decorate the fingers from outside and write a message for her inside the heart.

3. Pom pom cards
It is really fun to make these cards. It is an adorable way to present your emotions. Take an A4 sheet, and coloured cotton balls that are readily available. You can choose any of your favourite animals for this card. Supposedly, take pink cotton balls, distinguished in size. Paste the larger one on either side of the sheet and similarly, paste the smaller ones, opposite to the former. Take a pink coloured pencil and draw a swan facing downwards along the larger cotton and repeat the same with the smaller ones but point their neck towards the big swan. It will depict an ideal relationship between a mother and her child.
4. Handmade chocolates
Chocolates are a delightful treat. The ingredients needed for it includes cocoa butter, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract and a mould. Take a saucepan, pour water into it and let it boil. Keep a double bowler over it and ensure that the bowler doesn't touch the water. A glass bowl can be used as an alternative to the former. Grate cocoa butter in the bowler and let it melt; add all your remaining ingredients into it. Whisk it continuously, to make a smooth and creamy mixture. Pour the mixture into the moulds. You can decorate your chocolates with nuts. Freeze your moulds for an hour and the perfect gift will be ready to relish.
5. Jewellery box
All women are fond of jewels, which make their appearance more glamorous. A jewellery box will suffice their need. Take an old shoe box; cover it with a pretty sheet of paper. You can either use handmade or a designer sheet for this purpose. Place a piece of foam inside the box to secure the jewellery. You can decorate it with mirrors, sparkle, stars and pearls.
Other than these, you can spend your day with your mother. Also, you can help her with household work, cook her delicious food, watch her favourite movie or offer her a massage.
