Hawa Mahal

Jaipur is most famous for the red sandstone monument known as the Palace of the Winds or Hawa Mahal, which resembles a honeycomb. While you are welcome to explore its elaborate interiors during the day, the vibrant mirrored windows come to life at night. 

Amber Fort

Situated atop a hill, Amber Fort, often referred to as Amer Fort, is a magnificent structure to admire. This place, which combines Mughal and Hindu design beautifully, was constructed out of marble and red sandstone. Inside the fort, guests are free to explore the exquisite gardens, courtyards, and palaces. 

The City Palace

The City Palace, which is divided into several courtyards, served as the last ruling family's royal home. One of the many notable features of the place is its four elaborate doors that symbolize the seasons: Green Gate for spring, Lotus Gate for summer, Peacock Gate for fall and Rose Gate for winter.

Jal Mahal

Located in the centre of Man Sagar Lake, Jal Mahal is a stunning palace. Even though visitors are not permitted to go inside, it is a famous location for boating and photography. The castle is especially beautiful during monsoon when the lake is full to the brim. 

Jantar Mantar

Jantar Mantar is an open-air observatory that dates back to 1728. Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, the place is evidence of his interest and understanding of astronomy. It has 19 architectural astronomical devices, including the world's largest stone sundial.
