Firsts are special for many reasons. For Katrina Kaif, the same feelings extended to her first Karwa Chauth too. And just like any woman on Karwa Chauth, decked in the norm of the solah shringaar like a newlywed, this newlywed was dressed in all her traditional finery. For her first Karwa Chauth celebration, Katrina Kaif relied on the drape of a beautiful Sabyasachi saree. The bright pink organza saree carried the signature traditional embroidery all over the saree and an intricately designed border. The pairing of the blouse however gave this saree a very chic modern twist. She ditched the monochrome route to go full bloom with a mint green floral blouse with large pink flowers printed on it working its contrasting wonder on it. You can tell a Sabyasachi blouse from miles away with the patented sleeve length and a plunging neckline and thus we were quick to know. It comes as no surprise she picked the designer for her first Karwa Chauth since she trusted him for her most special day as well.
Vicky Kaushal's Punjabi-ness is rubbing rather gracefully on this Bollywood beauty, we have to admit, and her first Karwa Chauth is the start to many, we're sure of it. Her makeup and hair was her minimal best with a liner and her straight hair parted in the middle with sindoor adding the customary colours, as did the bindi. With bangles stacked, long dangling traditional earrings and a mangalsutra too in place, we almost went back to her traditional Punjabi bride avatar. Not to forget her phulkari dupatta as part of the Pooja.
There's simply no doubt that her first Karwa Chauth with the love of her life, Vicky Kaushal by her side was a memorable one.
