When Ira Khan's wedding to Nupur Shikhare was announced earlier this month, Bollywood fans assumed it would be the usual spectacle of star kid weddings. You know; immaculate styling, picture perfect photographs and not a single hair out of place. But the couple's first appearance alone at their civil wedding in Mumbai turned that notion right on its head. While Ira Khan ditched the lehenga in favour of a harem pant ethnic ensemble to register the wedding, Nupur Shikhare was an even more unconventionally garbed groom. The celebrity had headed for an evening run past Ira's house on the evening of the ceremony and chose to run directly to the venue wearing his workout clothes of a pair of shorts with a tank top and trainers on his feet. Social media fans who were refreshing their apps for wedding photos to be revealed, went wild. While Nupur, touted "the running groom", did face flak for choosing athleisure as a groom, he also found a fan following for providing an authentic take to the otherwise flawless celebrity wedding.

Now in a post on her Instagram Stories, his wife Ira Khan ribbed her husband Nupur Shikhare on his knack for flouting a dress code. In the photo from their Udaipur wedding which followed the Mumbai civil function, the groom is seen by the pool side wearing a full sleeve black leather jacket and blue jeans, complete with a cap and sunglasses, which is definite overdressing for a pool day. She writes on the picture, "You guys trolled him so much, now he's wearing a leather jacket and jeans by the pool".
Underdressing or over, it looks like this couple certainly has a sense of humour about each other and there's nothing we love more.
