After Justin Bieber, it's time to bring Ed Sheeran to India. Ed Sheeran had a small bicycle accident recently and he had to cancel a few shows but we got lucky, he is coming to India, specifically Mumbai. The tickets were sold out within a day of going on sale and Ed Sheeran plays at the Reliance Jio Gardens on November 19 - the same day Coldplay performed in Mumbai last year. Boy, time does fly!
Sheeran is all set to perform his new album Divide and we're already swaying to Perfect. Now, if you are among the lucky ticket-holders, we have some concert wardrobe advice for you.
Do not, on any account, copy Malaika Arora's Deme by Gabriella shirting dress as seen at the Justin Bieber concert. An asymmetrical maxi dress with boots is a big no. You won't be able to jump around and dance, you'll always be worried about your outfit, and that's not what you want. So don't wear this.
Here's what you should be wearing to look perfect to Ed Sheeran's Perfect.
1. Denim All The Way
Denim is the perfect way to go for a concert. A pair of ripped denims or denim hot pants with a denim shirt or just an oversized button up jacket. Pair it up with a pair of white sneakers, a snapback and you've got the whole 90's vibe on.
2. Skater Skirts. Always
Skater skirts or skater dresses with sneakers, a denim shirt tied at the waist and a backpack, you're ready to dance all night long! Psst..don't forget to wear cycling shorts underneath so that you can jump everywhere and anywhere.
3. Bomber It Up
A funky shirt, with a bomber and jeans or denim shorts is the best way to dress up for a concert if there's a little nip in the air. Combat boots is a must with this look. A high ponytail and some glitter on your face will give it the whole Coachella feel.
4. Boho-Chic Is A Way Of Life.
Are you a bohemian by heart? Well, then you should be wearing the trend too! Off-shoulder flirty dresses or tops with shorts, strappy sandals, flowers on your head and metallic stickers all over your body! YESSS. That's how you go boho-chic.
Ironically, Malaika nailed this look at 2016's Coldplay concert in Berlin:
5. Co-ord Sets Is Love
Co-ord sets are the best way to go for a concert! Not too much thinking goes into it and it's so stylish.Reflected sunnies, ankle length booties, you're ready to slay it smoothly and subtly.
Make utterly sure you don't wear heels like Jacqueline Fernandez did for Justin Bieber, you will not be able to walk for a few days. All the jumping around in heels will make your feet give up on you.
Girls, how are you dressing up for the concert? Can't wait? Nor can we.
