Rimi Sen, who has been part of a number of Bollywood movies including Hungama, Phira Hera Pheri, Dhoom, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited , has been out of the spotlight for a long time now. She was last seen on the reality television show Bigg Boss in the year 2015. The actress has recently garnered a lot of media attention for her new appearance, which speculate being the result of plastic surgery. Rimi however, has denied going under the knife but openly accepted that she has gotten Botox, fillers and PRP treatments to appear the way that she does.
During a recent interaction with HT City, Rimi Sen unabashedly said, "Agar logon ko aisa lag raha hai ki maine plastic surgery karvayi hai... if it's in a good way, it's very good for me. Bina plastic surgery karaye bina hi log bol rahe hain. I have only got fillers, Botox, PRP treatment done, nothing else." This open acceptance has led to such cosmetic treatments being seen in a positive light, which are more often than not, done covertly by those in the show business.
She further added that for now, she is content with these treatments and might only go ahead with surgery in the future. Rimi said, "One shouldn't need to get plastic surgery done unless someone is on the run after committing any crime! There are so many good doctors outside India, who are very good at facelifts. I too want to get it done, but I will think about it after I cross the age of 50. Abhi inn sab se kaam chal raha hai."
This goes to show that, be it plastic surgery or any beauty treatment, Rimi isn't shy of accepting work she has gotten done on herself. Her botox, fillers and PRP treatments saga has made such beauty practices all the more acceptable within the skincare, makeup and beauty space on the internet.
