Alia Bhatt Marks Our Pastel Favourite For The Wedding Season In A Powder Blue Sharara
Alia Bhatt is the chicest minimalistic fashionista of our times

When it comes to festivities or the ongoing wedding season, ethnic wear becomes our first go-to choice. While many love opting for vibrant, heavy and sparkling traditional outfits, minimalist fashionistas love to keep it simple. We may a bit inclined to the latter and Alia Bhatt is to be blamed for it. Alia picked a beautiful aqua blue signature web-design kurta sharara set from by Ritika Mirchandani's latest collection for Anant Ambani's engagement party. Alia's pastel kurta had a plunging v-neckline and matched it with matching sharara pants. Those power shoulders added more drama to the look. Alia accessorised with drop heart earrings that beautifully paired with her large finger rock. She stayed loyal to her basic nude makeup with a subtle blush on the cheeks and a nude glossy shade on her lips and left her locks straight and open.

It's true that traditional outfits don't always have to be over the top. Sometimes, a subtle take on ethnic fashion does wonders. Right? Alia Bhatt is here to show how you can ace that kind of minimal look and yet seem so appealing. She wore a kaftan set that blended ethnic and western elements perfectly. Her gorgeous pink number from the designer clothing label Sonam Luthria was adorned with golden gota work. She picked a pair of oxidised earrings. Her nude makeup acted like icing on the cake. Alia styled her hair in waves.

Looking for some colour pops to make your day brighter? Alia Bhatt has a solution for that too. Her peppy pink Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla sharara set included a short kurta with golden gota work paired with sharara pants. Alia completed her look with a matching dupatta. She elevated her look with a pair of dangler earrings and single-handedly won the festive maternity fashion game.

There are countless ways to deck yourself up for the wedding season. For the winter wedding season, nothing beats a velvet outfit and Alia Bhatt's deep blue velvet kurta and palazzos surely do the trick. The kurti had cape sleeves with contrasting yellow detailing and a deep v-neckline for a modern twist that extends to pleated details below the bust line. Her outfit showed delicate floral prints in shades of white, yellow and pink. All she needed was a pair of dangler earrings and a statement ring to seal the look. Her black bindi looked fantastic. Her hair was left open in waves.

It's important to remind yourself that the colour black is not restricted to LBDs or gowns alone. There can be some really jaw-dropping black ethnic outfits as well. Alia Bhatt, once, looked utterly elegant in this black pick from Punit Balana. She wore a black Anarkali kurta set showcasing scattered marodi and mirror embroidery. Amping up her traditional look were those dangler earrings. The Anarkali with cape sleeves looked stupendous. Alia rounded off her look with dewy makeup and a little black bindi.

Alia Bhatt has always been our go-to person for all things style and fashion, especially, when we want to ace minimalist. We're glad we can trust her blindly.
