Five hours away from Kochi, Munnar is located in the Idukki district of Kerala and is called the “Kashmir of South India”. A lot of people know the hill station as being home to multiple tea plantations and a place where you can buy really good spices from. But Munnar is a treat to the eyes and the soul. Take a ride uphill to see the plantations
Getting the most obvious one out of the way first, you can’t leave Munnar without checking out the beautifully lush and green tea plantations up the hills. You can park your transport at any point and enjoy a beautiful view of the rich greenery all around. The higher up you go, the more chances you have of seeing clouds meet the trees and the plantations.

Kundala Lake
One of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in India for sure, Kundala Lake is where you park yourself for some relaxation and some serene time. You can sit by the lake and read, take a nap or simply enjoy the view. Don’t forget to dip your feet in the clear and cool water.
