Every woman's breasts are different. Like how no two fingerprints can be the same, no 2 breasts can be the same. Every breast has it's own interesting angles and a unique shape. But they're all beautiful, it just requires the right frame to be put in. So that you're comfortable and feel amazing in it, here are the 4 mistakes you should avoid while shopping for a bra.
1. Not asking for help.
I know, it can be extremely awkward asking about your size and fit from the didi at the store, but trust me, it's worth the awkwardness. What's the point of wearing a bra of a size you're not sure of and spending a ton of money on it? Asking for help is going to guarantee that you get the right size, fit and style, ensuring that you get the most out of your bra and in turn feel the best that you can! The saleswomen are trained in bra sizes and the advice they give you will help you make better choices. You should ideally be getting a bra fitting done every 6 months. Yes, that's how quickly our bodies change. There's no harm in getting fitted even if you think you havnen't changed, right?
2. Assuming that every bra follows a universal size chart to the T.
It's super common for brands to have different sizes for different bra styles, so please don't assume that the size of your go-to bra universally works for every bra that you like. The most important thing is to focus on the bra's fit, not the number on the tag. You have to, have to try each bra that you like, to know the fit and see how comfortable you are. Yes, it will take time - but at least you'll never end up wasting money!
3. No same bra can be worn with every type of outfit.
You cannot wear the same bra with every outfit. There's a reason why brands have t-shirt bras and strapless bras and so many other kind of bras! Certain dresses are going to require a more perky shape. While some tops may look better when your breasts sit lower and flatter. To ensure you're pairing your outfit with the best bra possible, try different bras.
4. Accepting that a bra is not supposed to fit.
We women, just settle for bras that don't fit because we think we just won't get the dream fit. Guilty? You're not alone. We generally get tired and exhausted by the end of a day spent bra shopping and we simply settle for a bra that kind of, sort of fits. Which is wrong! Absolutely wrong. You have to be happy and comfortable, so you need a bra that fits perfectly. And the right one is out there, we're sure you'll find it.
Moral of the story, girls, is that you need to have a lot of patience and resilience to find those perfect bras. After all, nothing good comes easy. Does it?
