Delhi Police Recruitment 2017 For 707 MTS Posts

New Delhi: Delhi Police has invited online applications from class 10 pass candidates in the age group of 18-27 years for direct recruitment of Multi Tasking Staffs (Civilian). The recruitment is open to both male and female candidates in various trades in Delhi Police. A total of 707 posts are open for recruitment in the trades of cook, water carrier, safai karamchari, cobbler, washerman, tailor, daftri, gardener, barber and carpenter. Details of the recruitment and the Delhi Police Examination are available on the official websites delhipolicerecruitment.nic.in. 

The application process began on December 17, 2017 and will end on January 16, 2018. The date for written examination will be announced at a later date. 

Delhi Police Examination 2017 will involve written test, trade tests and medical exam for selecting candidates. Candidates should note that the recruitment tests will be held at Delhi only.

Candidates with ITI in the relevant trade are also eligible to apply. Candidates who are yet to get the qualifying educational qualification and have not acquired the educational qualification at the time of filling of application form will not be eligible to apply.

The written test will be OMR based and will comprise of questions related to general intelligence & reasoning, numerical aptitude and general awareness or current affairs. The total mark will be 100 and candidates will be allowed 90 minutes to appear for the test.

After the examination, candidates can take the carbon copy of the answer sheet with them. Delhi Police will upload the tentative answer key of the exam soon and candidates will be allowed 15 days time to raise objections, if any.
