Ten killed, 30 injured in Madhya Pradesh road accident

Sehore, Madhya Pradesh: Ten persons were killed and over 30 others injured when a tractor-trolley collided with a lorry near Icchawar town in Madhya Pradesh today, police said.

The incident took place when the victims were returning to Ladhawat village after taking bath at Awalighat, a religious place located on the banks of the Narmada river, Sehore District's Superintendent of Police (SP) Raman Singh Sikarwar said.

Four of the seriously injured were referred to Bhopal while others are undergoing treatment at Icchawar and Sehore.

The deceased, including four women, have not been identified, Sikarwar said, adding that further investigations were on.
