More arrests in Mumbai gangrape case
Mumbai:

Two more Mumbai students arrested for the alleged gangrape of a 23-year-old Indian American exchange student from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Says N R Ambup, Senior Police Inspector, Mumbai Police: "We have arrested two of the accused Harshwardhan Yadav and Jaskaran Bhullar."

Jaskaran Bhullar and Hershvardhan Yadav were picked up early Friday morning from south Mumbai.

Both are students of prominent colleges. Bhullar is a student of HR College and Yadav is from Sydenham College.

Vinamra Soni, a Jai Hindi college student, is the only one still on the run.

All six are students who had moved to Mumbai to study here, and as their Orkut pages show had an active social life.

Police sources say they will be matching medical evidence including blood samples taken from the accused with those of the victim to build a case of sexual assault

The Police will have to largely depend on circumstantial evidence, the victim's statement and the genetic material found on the victim's clothes to try and construct a solid case against the alleged rapists.
