New Delhi:  The Lok Sabha on Monday saw protests from the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) members as the House was adjourned for the day after a copy of President Pranab Mukherjee's address to Parliament was laid on the table of the House.

Members from the TRS and BJD were on their feet soon after Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh laid papers in the House mentioned against his name.

While members from the TRS were carrying placards against ordinance concerning the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, those from the BJD held placards against the Polavaram dam.

Speaker Sumitra Mahajan asked members to resume their seats but they continued to protest.

Later, she adjourned the House for the day.
