Apple has completely eliminated the physical SIM tray for the iPhone Duo, making it an eSIM-only device globally. To power its dual-screen design, the foldable houses separate batteries on each side that function together as a single unified cell to provide all-day battery life. Apple estimates this system delivers up to 31 hours of video playback when using the inner display and up to 44 hours on the outer screen.

Apple announced that the iPhone Duo will be available in two finishes: Star White and Night Sky. The device starts at $1,999 for the 256 GB storage variant. Pre-orders for the foldable smartphone kick off on October 16, with official retail availability beginning October 23.

Apple has launched the AirPods 5, featuring up to 50 per cent greater noise reduction compared to the previous generation thanks to an upgraded Active Noise Cancellation system. Samsung has offered a piece of straightforward advice for its long-time rival Apple Inc, as reports claim that the latter is finally getting ready to launch its first foldable iPhone at the launch event on Wednesday (September 9).
