Gujarat Elections 2017: UPA Tried To Derail Gujarat's Development Journey, Says PM Modi

PM Narendra Modi has been running an aggressive election campaign in Gujarat.

Ahead of the second phase of the Gujarat assembly election 2017 to be held on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went on a tour of the state and addressed three rallies today. The Congress and BJP have been running an aggressive campaign for the Gujarat assembly election, which has turned into a prestige battle. Both the parties have been hurling allegations against each other over issues such as corruption and development.

On Sunday, PM Modi yet again attacked Mani Shankar Aiyar, who was suspended from Congress for calling the Prime Minister "neech". In the past, he has lashed out at the grand old party for being "anti-poor" and "anti-Gujarat".

Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed more election rallies in Patan, Nadiad and Ahmedabad. He is currently addressing a rally in Ahmedabad. Among other star campaigners of the party, BJP National President Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are also holding election rallies in the poll-bound state today.
