After Goa blast, Sanstha involved in riots too

Mumbai: Investigations into Sanathan Sanstha's role in Friday's blast in Margao have revealed the right-wing Hindu group's involvement in recent communal riots in Maharashtra.

Maharasthra Police hav revealed that four members of this group were arrested during the riots in Sangli and Miraj, while travelling in a Maruti van with swords, sticks and chains. They were been charged for possessing arms and inciting communal violence

Friday night's blast in south Goa's Margao town brought Sanatan Sanstha to centrestage. The group is already under investigation for planting bombs in theatres in Thane and Navi Mumbai.

The two men who died in the blast are believed to have links with the group. Apparently, they were killed because the bomb went off while they were attempting to plant it.
