Which insurance policies in India cover pre-existing diseases?

Generally pre existing diseases are covered more under group policies than under Individual medical insurance policies. Individual policies covering pre existing cover are offered by companies including Bajaj Allainz & Oriental Insurance. ICICI Lombard used to offer a cover for pre existing disease but last I knew they had discontinued this cover. Generally, there is a moratorium period (waiting period) before the coverage of the pre existing ailment begins and in this period there should be no hospitalisation on account of the declared ailment.
