Actor Nayanthara received a brand new Mercedes Maybach as birthday gift from husband and director Vignesh Shivan. She thanked her husband and posted a sweet note along with two photos of the car's logo, calling it the "most sweetest birthday gift". Nayanthara celebrated her 39th birthday on November 18. Mr Shivan had shared a cute photo on Instagram that showed him and the couple's two sons - Uyir and Ulag - celebrating thr actor's birthday. Other glimpses of the birthday celebrations included the cake-cutting scene.
Though the photos shared by Nayanthara do not show the model of the car, Maybach's two models are sold in India. These include Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS and Maybach S-Class and each of them cost over Rs 3 crore.
Nayanthara's post received more than 5.7 lakh likes and numerous comments from her fans.
Nayanthara made her Hindi cinema debut with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Jawan'. In a list of top 10 movie stars released by IMDb last week, she was ranked fifth, followed by Tamannaah Bhatia, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sobhita Dhulipala.
During a recent Ask Me Anything (AMA) session on X (formerly Twitter), Shah Rukh Khan had shared his experience of working with Nayanthara in 'Jawan'. "She is so beautiful and such a wonderful actor. Has added immensely to her role. Hope her fans in Tamil Nadu fall in love with her all over again and the Hindi audience appreciates her hard work," he said while responding to a fan.
The film also had Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya in key roles. 'Jawan' was south Indian director Atlee's maiden Bollywood directorial.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan got married on June 9, 2022. The couple welcomed their sons through surrogacy in October 2022.
