Ayushmann bagged the best male debut and male playback singer awards at the Filmfare.

  • "I was not thinking at all, expectations were minimal. It was the year of the debutants and everyone was so good, everyone is a package," said Ayushmann, who came into filmdom along with other new faces like Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra.
  • Now that Ayushmann has two Filmfare trophies, he confesses he is simply overjoyed.
  • "I was expecting one award, I was nominated in two categories and I got two awards. I couldn't believe. It feels good when life gives you surprises, you should have least expectations," Ayushmann said.
  • "I did not expect, I am a very practical person. But I am just overjoyed, in seventh heaven right now that I have got two beautiful Filmfare ladies at my place," he added.
  • Ayushmann will soon be seen in Nautanki Saala and will start shooting for Hamara Bajaj.
