Actor Shahid Kapoor unveiled the logo of his upcoming film
Udta Punjab on Twitter on Monday and this is what he has to say about it.

Udta Punjab is based on the issue of drug trafficking in the state. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Alia Bhatt.
Kareena, who plays a doctor in
Udta Punjab, had told news agency PTI that
Udta Punjab is an exciting film. "It is very gritty and real, and the whole space is very dark. It is very exciting. I have done these kind of films, and getting back to that atmosphere is great.

Udta Punjab's trailer will release on April 16 while the film is scheduled to release on June 17.
