Los Angeles: Guardians of the Galaxy star Benicio Del Toro seems to have confirmed that he will appear as a villain in
Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
In a recent interview with Spanish radio station Rac1 (via
Star Wars: Episode VIII News), he talked about the possibility of appearing in the upcoming
Star Wars film.
Benicio Del Toro, 48, was asked about his upcoming work schedule. The actor then said that he would be soon working on
Star Wars: The Force Awakens and added information about when the principal photography would commence. (Also Read:

Star Wars is coming up, we will see how that turns out. I think we start shooting in March," he said. The reporter followed up by asking what his role would be, but he only gave few details about it. Back in July, the actor was reportedly eyed by Lucasfilm and Disney to fill a villainous role.
