The first look of
Shaandaar will release on August 5, actress Alia Bhatt informed on microblogging site Twitter. She shared the film's teaser poster featuring Shahid Kapoor and herself, and captioned it:
However, it was producer Karan Johar , who shared the teaser poster first, saying:
The poster depicts Shahid and Alia enjoying a nap, which has been picturized in a make-believe set, reminiscent of a fantasy world.
Alia, who was last seen in
Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is currently filming
Kapoor And Sons, also co-produced by KJo. The 22-year-old actress will soon be seen in Abhishek Chaubey's
Udta Punjab, which also features Shahid.
Meanwhile, apart from
Shaandaar and
Udta Punjab, Shahid has reportedly signed Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming project co-starring Saif Ali Khan.
