London: The comedian was spotted dining out with Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) president Aida Takla-O'Reilly and Doug Vaughan, NBC's head of Specials, at the Chez Benoit restaurant in Paris, France, which has led to increased speculation he could be presenting the ceremony again.

Ricky was warned he could never work in Hollywood again after his controversial comments-which saw him poke fun at Charlie Sheen, Robert Downey Jr. and Ashton Kutcher, among others-during last year's show.

His jokes were branded "unacceptable" by organisers HFPA, despite NBC's ratings increasing last year.

During the three-hour ceremony, the 50-year-old star picked on the majority of A-list stars in the audience, including Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp for their performance in 2010 film The Tourist.

He said: "Seems like everything this year was three-dimensional. Except the characters in The Tourist.

"I tell you what, I'm jumping on the bandwagon, because I haven't even seen The Tourist. Who has?"

Ricky revealed earlier this year he was invited back to host the event for a third time- but he wasn't sure whether to accept the offer.

He said: "The ratings went up again, and the organisers asked me to consider a third year. I don't think I should. I don't know what I could do better. I certainly couldn't get more press for them, that's for sure. You know me. Two seasons is enough."
