On Wednesday, Rashmika Mandanna had announced that she has signed her first film with Thalapathy Vijay. She was not able to contain her happiness and had shared the same with her fans. But this is not the first time that this has happened. In 2018, there were reports that Rashmika has signed a movie with Thalapathy Vijay and Atlee. But, Rashmika had quashed those rumours and had written, "A lot of you have been asking me if I am a part of Vijay sir's and Atlee sir's film but since that's not happening this time, I hope I get to work with them soon. I am so overwhelmed (like literally) to see such support from all of you. I will definitely make a debut there soon. I love you all very much." And now, Rashmika has finally fulfilled her wish and is now working with Thalapathy Vijay.

Rashmika Mandanna and Thalapathy Vijay's untitled film will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under their production house Sri Venkateswara Creations. Announcing the news, Rashmika had written, "Ok now this feels like something else... Been watching sir for years and years and now to do everything that I've been wanting to do.. act with him, dance with him, take his nazar, talk to him.. everything .. yaaaaay finally! An absolute delight.. #talapathyvijay."

On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna is all set to make her Bollywood debut. She will be seen in Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra. She also a movie with Amitabh Bachchan.
