Rajinikanth to back Anna, lends hall for protest

  • “Someone with the stature of Rajinikanth backing the movement will boost the anti-corruption movement. He has a great fan base and this will create a larger awareness in the State,” says central core committee member of IAC, M S Chandramohan.
  • Interestingly, it was during the silver jubilee week celebrations of his blockbuster Padayappa that the superstar announced that from then on, all earnings from the Raghavendra Kalyana Mantapam would stop going to his family and go towards a public trust, where it would be used for charity.
