Megastar Mammootty is celebrating his 71st birthday today (September 7), and to make it more special, his friend and superstar Mohanlal has shared an adorable video to wish the star. On Twitter, veteran actor Mohanlal shared a video in which he can be seen wishing Mammooty prosperity and good health. The text on the video read, "Happy B'day Ichakka. Love and Prayers Mohanlal" In the background, he added the iconic son Yeh Dosti Hum Nahi Todenge from the film Sholay. Sharing the post, Mohanlal wrote, "Happy Birthday Dear Ichakka (elder brother)".
Soon after Mohanlal shared the birthday post, their fans flooded the comment section. A fan wrote, "Pillar of Mollywood," followed by a heart emoticon, while others dropped birthday wishes.

Mammootty and Mohanlal, who are superstars of the Malayalam film industry, share a close bond. Together, they have worked in several films such as Padayottam, Enthino Pookkunna Pookkal, Harikrishnans and others.
