New Delhi: Actress Katrina Kaif says chooses her movies after analysing both the director and script, but when it comes to the Yash Chopra banner, she would have agreed to do a film even if it involved dressing as a clown.(Also Read: Had Asked Kabir If it Was Safe to Make Phantom: Katrina)

"It is a combination of the script and the director, when it comes to picking my movies. There have been cases, like in the case of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, it was Mr Yash Chopra's film and I really did not say can I have the script, for me it was a life-long dream to work with him, so I would have done the film even if he was dressing me as a clown," Katrina told IANS here.

"You have that much trust in certain directors but mostly I think an actor does get a lot of confidence from the director. But I believe most actors go by the story of the film," she added.

The Bang Bang actress believes in looking at a movie from the perspective of the audience.

"I think that if I was the audience, would I like to see this film? I try not to be too self-obsessed or too narcissistic about my choices. I look at the film largely and say that if I was the audience, on a Friday morning would I want to sit and see this film?," Katrina explained.

Katrina, who has played the role of an ex-RAW agent in Phantom, shared that she was already trained to look physically agile, thanks to her role in movies like Dhoom: 3 and Ek Tha Tiger.

"To play such a role you need to be a physically adept person for doing action. Look agile and to look comfortable with a gun, to be able to do decent amount of action and physical combat and for all of which I think I was fortunate to have had already the experience during Dhoom: 3, Ek tha Tiger," she said.

"I was very comfortable with the action sequences, there was nothing that made me feel that 'I am not upto doing this'. So everything will look very real," Katrina added about her action-packed role in the film.

Directed by Kabir Khan, Phantom is set in the aftermath of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks and global terrorism. It will release on August 28.
