- Katrina came onboard Salman's Bharat after Priyanka quit the film
- Manish Malhotra also invited Janhvi, Khushi and Sara
- We also spotted Madhuri Dixit and Sangeeta Bijlani on the red carpet
Katrina Kaif made several people skip a heartbeat as she walked down the ramp wearing the showstopper dress from designer Manish Malhotra's latest Indo-Persian inspired collection, Zween, at his show on Wednesday night in Mumbai. For Katrina Kaif, Manish Malhotra designed a sequin-embellished lehenga with a matching choli replacing the dupatta with a flowy, bell-sleeves cape. Katrina's showstopper partner for night was Salman Khan, who looked dapper in pathani salwar and kurta set teamed with an embellished jacket. Salman Khan and Katrina, who are all set to co-star in Bharat, looked just F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S. Manish Malhotra, take a bow, this one was exquisite.
Here are pictures of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif from last night's couture show:
Manish Malhotra's guests (mostly dressed in pieces from the designer's collection) were as gorgeous as his showstoppers. Manish Malhotra invited Sridevi's daughter Janhvi and Khushi (they share a great rapport with the designer), Madhuri Dixit, Sara Ali Khan, Lara Dutta and her husband Mahesh Bhupathi, Bhumi Pednekar, Sangeeta Bijlani, Kim Sharma and Preeti Jhangiani among others.
Janhvi and Khushi, daughters of late actress Sridevi, swear by Manish Malhotra's designs. Therefore, it was not surprising to find them in the first row cheering for him. Janhvi's friend, Sara Ali Khan (daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh) also joined their team.
Lehengas aside, Madhuri Dixit, Sangeeta Bijlani and Kim Sharma rooted for the good ol' saree.
Nothing, not even an arm-brace, could stop Bhumi Pednekar looking like a diva. Daisy Shah, Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, Mouni Roy wore distinct and stunning pieces from the designer's collection.
Lara Dutta and Preeti Jhangiani ditched the ethnic look and added a western twist to Manish Malhotra's show. Lara Dutta wore a bandage dress while Preeti Jhangiani wore a black ensemble.
