New Delhi:

Kartik Aaryan is creating a buzz on the Internet after a report of being part of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit's Tezaab remake went viral. The report also suggested that Ranveer had opted out of the film. Now, the Bhool Bhuliyaa 2 actor has denied the report on Twitter. Re-twitting the report, Kartik wrote, "Not true". Earlier, rumours were doing the rounds that Ranveer Singh and Janhvi Kapoor were approached to play the lead role in the remake. Check out the tweet here.

Tezaab, starring Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher and Chunky Panday, was one of the hit films in the 1980s. Not just the film, the song Ek Do Teen was also a chart-busting success. The movie received immense praise from the audience and critics for its story, songs and performances by the stars. The movie won four Filmfare Awards in various categories -  Best Actor (Anil Kapoor), Best Female Playback Singer (Alka Yagnik), Best Choreography (Saroj Khan for Ek Do Teen) and Best Dialogue (Kamlesh Pandey).

Coming back to Kartik Aaryan, the actor is busy shooting for his next film Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani. Earlier this month, both actors were spotted shooting for the film in Kashmir. Check out the viral pictures of Kiara and Kartik with fans here:

Helmed by Sameer Vidwans and Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Satyaprem Ki Katha also stars Gajraj Rao and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles. The movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on June 29.

Satyaprem Ki Katha marks Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's second film together after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was one of the hit films in 2022.
