New Delhi: Actress Kajol, mother of 14-year-old Nysa and seven-year-old Yug, says that her children are her 'biggest gurus.' Kajol, who was present at an event in Mumbai on Tuesday, told news IANS: "I've been learning from my kids ever since I was pregnant. I have learned a lot from my kids. My biggest gurus are my kids. I learn something new from them every day." Kajol also shared that the most important thing she's learnt from her kids is 'patience.' "Sometimes there are words which I don't understand when they are talking, so they tell me the meaning with a lot of patience and ease. Sometimes it's their habits or outlook which I learn from. The most important thing I've learned from my kids is patience," IANS quoted Kajol as saying.

Kajol is married to actor Ajay Devgn, her co-star from films like Ishq and Pyar To Hona Hi Tha, in 1999.

The 42-year-old actress added: "If I am wrong and they catch it, then I apologise and rectify it while Ajay is perfect. He never makes any mistakes laughs. He has obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) when it comes to cleanliness. He keeps washing his hands over and over again. He is very conscious about it and keeps telling us to keep things clean."

Kajol also says that imparting knowledge in children is very important. "The most important thing is that I believe when teaching a child, whatever it might be, you need to tell the reason behind it because every child asks the same thing, 'Mom, why?' So we can impart as much knowledge as possible," IANS quoted Kajol as saying.

Earlier Kajol had also revealed that she and husband Ajay Devgn have taken pains to shield their two children from the public gaze. Doting mother Kajol said: "Ajay and I consciously chose to keep kids away from media. Keeping them away from the spotlight at large is an attempt to give the children their space where they are not bogged down by any kind of pressure."

Kajol, star of films such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham recently featured in Tamil release VIP 2, co-starring Dhanush while Ajay Devgn was last seen in Rohit Shetty's comedy drama Golmaal Again, which crossed 200 crore at the box office.
