- When asked about the difference over marketing of the film, Imran said, "There is no point speaking about what has happened in the past. There is no point to dwell on the past. If you can't say good things then don't talk. A film should be promoted aggressively but it should also be intelligent. I believe in promoting films in intelligent way."
- The apparent rift widened so much that Imran has reportedly been replaced by Shahid Kapoor in Ekta's next Milan Talkies, being directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia.
- Imran is looking forward to the release of Karan Johar's home production Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, where he is paired opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan.
